Tyler & I have been dying to take Ruby to the beach & so we got out of town for the 4th & cooled off in San Diego. My parents came along too & Ruby was pretty much in heaven with both of them being there. These next two pictures sum up our first trip to the beach really well:
She was having none of the water & why won't this sand come off?? Not quite how we had imagined it.
Thankfully our second trip was a happy one:
Watching the world through this girl's eyes never gets old. She kept chanting, "Ocean! Ocean! Ocean!" & "Happy!"

We spent most of the day on the 4th at the zoo. If I ever get the idea to take Ruby somewhere during nap time will someone please slap some sense into me?! This girl is awesome, but when she doesn't nap she is plain crazy.
