Grand Canyon Part I

Tyler's only request for his birthday was to take a camping trip to the Grand Canyon. So we spent 4 days there & although camping with 2 little kids is a lot of work, we had a great time & I'm so glad we did it. We hope to instill a love of nature in our children & so it did my heart good to see Ruby & Noah having this experience. And let me tell you, having your toddler stare over the edge of a gigantic canyon is enough to keep you on your toes 24/7. I was in mama bear mode this whole trip, but all is well that ends well.
Hooray for the Grand Canyon!

Thank heavens for the pack n play & this happy boy!

We went on lots of bike rides which were my favorite part of the trip. Riding on the bike paths along the canyon just never got old.

Noah was a fan of baths out in nature. He's pretty much a fan of life in general.

And sitting outside the camper at night while the kids slept soundly & talking with Tyler was the best. To me, there is nothing like the sound of silence.
