Photo catch up from the end of 2019:
Ruby's baptism was the most special day & I had no idea what an incredible experience it would be. First of all, there's that moment where you realize you have an 8-year-old that is old enough to be baptized, & that in & of itself is kind of crazy. And then there's picking out the white dress that is so significant & realizing the next white dress will be her wedding dress. And then the Spirit was just so strong throughout the baptism & it's hard to even describe just how special it is when your child is baptized & how incredibly proud you are. Ruby is good to the core & has such beautiful, bright spirit about her. She was nervous about everything but ready. I loved seeing her in the warm water with her dad & the love those two have for each other. And then the moment we had together after she came out of the water & I helped her change & fix her hair & get ready for her confirmation where she would receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. She couldn't stop smiling after she was baptized & kept saying, "I'm just so happy!!!" over & over again. How I love that little girl! I hope to never forget that moment we had together. And then we got to celebrate after at our home with family & the day was just full of happiness & love. Truly one of the best days ever!
