Father's Day

These kids are the luckiest to have Tyler as a dad. Our favorite part of the day is when he walks in the door from work. Everything instantly gets more fun, exciting, & loud. Anytime anything in our house is broken, Ruby & Noah always say, "It's okay, daddy can fix it." And most of the time they're right. I'm convinced there's nothing Tyler can't do. We're all so grateful for his happy, optimistic nature & are the luckiest to be loved so well by him. Happy Father's Day!



Did You Know

Did you know that every night after you are sleeping soundly in your bed, I go into your room one last time & look at you? I stare at your angelic faces as you peacefully sleep & look at all of your features that I already know by heart. I kiss your cheek & whisper I love you & in that moment any of the hard or frustrating moments from the day are forgotten. And then your dad & I go into our room & talk about all of the cute or funny things that you did throughout the day. Did you know that I love you with all my heart? You've filled up my life with all of the best things & now I know just how dull my life was before you came into it. Did you know that I feel proud of you every single day? I love watching you grow up & seeing you be kind & brave & good. Did you know that being your mom is my favorite? It's true. And no matter how old you are, it always will be.
